Raspberry Beetle Pheromone Lure Set

Each lure contains a slow-release synthetic pheromone that mimics the natural scent produced by female raspberry beetles. Male beetles detect this signal and fly toward the trap.

Once drawn into a compatible pheromone trap, males are captured, helping to:

• Reduce mating success
  
• Lower egg laying pressure
  
• Provide early warning of infestation
  
• Support informed pest management decisions
  

Because the attractant is species-specific, it targets raspberry beetle males only and does not affect pollinators or beneficial insects.

This lure is intended for monitoring and mass trapping within a structured IPM programme.

• Remove one lure from its foil sachet immediately before use.
  
• Do not open or cut the plastic capsule, the pheromone diffuses naturally through the material.
  
• Place the capsule into the lure holder of a compatible PlantPro pheromone trap (trap not included).
  
• Hang the trap at crop height within raspberry or soft fruit rows.
  
• Deploy just before flowering for best results.
  
• Check traps regularly and record catches to track beetle activity.
  
• Replace the lure every 4–6 weeks, or sooner in very warm weather.
  
• Store unused lures sealed in a refrigerator or freezer until needed.
