By attracting and trapping adult male moths, this durable and reusable trap helps disrupt the breeding cycle, reducing egg laying and providing early warning of pest activity. Its smaller size makes it ideal for home growers, allotments and low-pressure areas.
How It Works
The trap uses a species-specific pheromone lure (sold separately) to attract adult male moths. Once inside, they become trapped within the clear chamber, allowing you to easily monitor activity levels. The green funnel cap reduces attraction to non-target insects, while the transparent body ensures quick visual identification and monitoring.
How to Use
- Remove a pheromone lure from its packaging just before use.
- Place the lure inside the designated basket within the trap.
- Close the trap securely and hang it in the problem area at crop or plant height.
- Position the trap away from competing scents and ensure good airflow.
- Check the trap regularly and record activity to track changes in pest levels.
- Replace the lure every 4–6 weeks to maintain attraction.
- Clean and store the trap when not in use — the body is durable for multi-season use.
