BuxTrap – Box Tree Moth Trap & Pheromone Lure Set

BuxTrap uses a dual-pheromone system to maximise attraction and capture rates.

• The first lure, placed in the lid, attracts male moths from a distance.
  
• The second lure, positioned inside the trap body, guides them into the funnel chamber.
  

Once inside, moths are contained and unable to escape, reducing mating activity and lowering egg-laying rates.

By interrupting the breeding cycle, BuxTrap helps reduce caterpillar populations and supports long-term Box Tree Moth management.

For best results, add 2–5cm of water with a few drops of washing-up liquid to neutralise odours and maintain trap performance.

Each pheromone lure remains active for 4–6 weeks.

• Install traps from mid-March, when Box Tree Moths begin to emerge.
  
• Hang traps 1–1.5m above ground (up to 1.8m for optimal airflow).
  
• Position within 2 metres of Buxus plants.
  
• Add 2–5cm of water plus a few drops of washing-up liquid.
  
• Replace pheromone lures every 4–6 weeks.
  
• Maintain throughout the growing season.
  

Coverage:
