ThripNok is a professional floral attractant lure designed to enhance thrips monitoring performance in greenhouses, polytunnels and outdoor crops.

Developed to work alongside blue sticky traps, ThripNok increases the likelihood of thrips locating and landing on monitoring boards — improving early detection and population tracking. It is suitable for use within Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programmes and is safe for edible and ornamental crops.

ThripNok supports monitoring of key thrips species including:

Frankliniella occidentalis (Western Flower Thrips)
Thrips tabaci (Onion Thrips)
Other common glasshouse and outdoor thrips species

When used correctly, ThripNok can significantly improve trap catch rates, helping growers identify infestations earlier and respond more effectively.

This product is intended for monitoring and detection, not chemical control.

How It Works

ThripNok uses a dual-component floral attractant that mimics the scents naturally sought by flower-inhabiting thrips.

Blue sticky traps are widely recognised as the most effective visual attractant for thrips. When the ThripNok lure is positioned near a blue sticky trap, it releases a gentle floral signal that increases the probability of thrips entering the monitoring zone and landing on the trap.

By increasing trap sensitivity, ThripNok helps improve visibility of early infestations and supports more accurate pest population assessment within an IPM strategy.

How to use

Hang blue sticky traps at crop height within the growing area.
Attach one ThripNok lure to the top of a sticky trap using the integrated hook.
Distribute traps evenly throughout the crop area.
Replace the lure approximately every 6–8 weeks, or sooner if depleted.

Outdoor crops: Space approximately 10 metres apart

Suitable for use in strawberries, peppers, tomatoes, cut flowers, ornamentals, leafy greens and other protected or field-grown crops.
