Moth Catcher Trap with Pheromone Attractant

Each pheromone lure mimics the natural scent released by female moths. Adult males follow this scent into the trap, where they become contained within the chamber.

By capturing male moths, the system helps:

• Reduce mating success
  
• Slow population growth
  
• Identify peak flight periods
  
• Inform timely intervention and additional control measures
  

The pheromone is released gradually through the impregnated plastic lure, remaining active for approximately 4–6 weeks per unit, providing up to 12–18 weeks of monitoring per pack.

Because the attractant is species-specific, beneficial insects and pollinators are not affected.

• Select the correct pheromone variant for your target pest.
  
• Assemble the trap according to the instructions provided.
  
• Hang at crop or canopy height in the greenhouse, polytunnel or orchard.
  
• Position away from strong airflow that may disperse the pheromone too quickly.
  
• Deploy at the start of the overwintering generation’s flight period for early detection.
  
• Check traps regularly and record catch numbers.
  
• Replace each pheromone lure every 4–6 weeks, or sooner if activity declines.
